Completed wedges!
My finisher was… a high-gloss finisher, so they are very shiny and I’m hoping that sort of dulls with time and use, because THE GLARE, THE GLARE.
Otherwise, I am very happy with how they turned out! Now that these are done, and now that I have a more screen accurate belt, this outfit is as complete as it’s going to get! POWER OUTFIT.

The difference a year makes…
Whoops I accidentally angst.
One year ago today, my life was ruined forever in the absolute best way possible.
I have made some amazing friends, read some amazing stories, watched some amazing fanvideos, cried over some amazingly beautiful graphics, and daily cursed the names of Adam, Eddy, Jane, Robert, and Emilie for throwing me down the rabbit hole of glorious pain that is Rumbelle.
And, honestly, I couldn’t be happier.

While tumblr was down, I finished a Belle bodice, started an Evil Queen dress, made some chocolate cake batter fudge, and took some photos with my ratty.
… All while missing tumblr like a lost limb.

They’re Baker’s Liz pumps, which I dyed to match Belle’s. When I got them they were cherry red which, while cute in their own right, were not at all screen accurate. I’m much happier with these than with my other ones from F21. :)

But also, because I need to be Belle today. Because it’s Sunday. A Sunday without Belle, weh weh weh. (Also because next week will be a Sunday with Belle, and I’ll be wearing my Club Monaco dress to match her. I needed an excuse to wear my Armani Exchange dress today, don’t judge me. I also needed an excuse to show off my new, more screen-accurate burgundy belt OKAY FINE YOU CAN JUDGE ME A LITTLE.)
The moment Rum mentioned trick-or-treating, Belle knew she had to give it a try. She was dismayed to learn that people did not generally hand out hamburgers as treats, though.

Alright, I know I’m going to get eye-rolled pretty hard for this, but…
With the infinite kindness and assistance of ravenclawslibrary, I was able to locate an Armani Exchange outlet that had my actual size in Belle’s blue dress! You’ll recall the one I’d previously been using had started out as a size 12? Turns out I’m actually between a size 0 and 2 at A|X. Now I am the proud owner of a screen accurate Belle dress that actually fits right off the hanger, and I could not be more ecstatic! Thank you, again, ravenclawslibrary, for all of your help! ♥
This does, however, mean that I now have an extra Belle dress hanging in my closet… Edit: Claimed!

After my freakout yesterday, I calmed down and took it in about four inches, and now it fits like a glove! The straps are a little loose, but nothing I can’t deal with. Burgundy nails and the key to a certain library help to complete the ensemble…
… well, it’s as complete as it can get without a Rumple of my own to give me a diamond necklace. Sigh.

I learned that the dress was by Club Monaco a couple weeks ago and snatched one up as fast as my little fingers could fly, and today it finally arrived in the mail! It’s made of silk, you guys. Silk all over my skin. Damn, Gold, you dress your lady up nice.
I’m really, really excited to see what pumps they put her in for this outfit. Her Gucci t-straps would basically look good with everything, but I know they’ve been pretty into giving her a new set of heels for each outfit, soooooooo, yeah. Guess we’ll see!
